The Eagles are just a group of guys who want to get together and play games, but they're also the first team to make it to the Super Bowl. They've won the most Super Bowls, they have the biggest fanbase, they have the most players in the Hall of Fame, and they have all of those things because they're just really good at what they do. They know that it's all about teamwork, and that's why their name is "eagles."
The Commanders are a bunch of guys who only care about winning—and not even in a good way. They don't care about teamwork or cooperation or anything like that—they just want to win at whatever it takes, even if it means cheating or trying to steal your girlfriend or breaking every rule in the book.
When you think about it that way… well, you can see how both teams are similar yet different!

Eagles are a bit more aggressive than commanders, they will keep up the pace to catch you if you fall behind. They can also use their speed to outrun and attack you.
Commander's are slightly slower but they have more health than an eagle and they can heal themselves with the magical food item.
If you're playing as a commander then be sure to save your magical food item for when you need it and not use it too early or else you'll get caught by an eagle!
